Today, my son was working on a new helmet to use for his welding class. He brought it in the house and left it on the table temporarily as he went back outside to finish what he was working on. I glanced at the helmet and saw he had peeled a sticker off on the inside, but all of the sticker did not come off. On the inside, was all the left over peeled white stuck to the side that is usually hard to scrape off. This was something that we needed to fix.
When I saw that, I got a little upset. Not mad, but more of I need to help him fix this because I didn’t want him to have this brand-new helmet, he just got with sticker remnants sitting on the inside. So, I decided I wanted to try and get the rest of the sticker off to make it look nice for him. Even though it was on the inside and out of sight, I didn’t want it to look junky.
I was asking God to help me clean this off for him, because I was having a hard time trying to scrape it off, so I wanted to see if he would notice when he came back inside. As I was doing this God spoke to me and gave me a vision.
God said to me:
“Don’t you see, as you are fixing this up for your son, this is just what I do for my children. You want him to have something nice, for it to look nice, and not look messed up. You are trying to fix it for him, as you are his mother and want good for him.”
“That’s what I do for my children. I clean them up. I fix them. I see what they are doing or have done, what they are going through, and some of the things aren’t always pleasant. But I’m always here to clean you up. I want to heal you. I want to fix you and make you better. But I also need my children to allow me to heal them. Just let go and allow me to be the Father that I am, who loves their children and wants the very best for them.”
“I fix my children. I heal them. I want to pick up the pieces that are broken and fix you up and heal you. I need you to allow Me to do this. Your full surrender.”
“I want the very best for you, I love you. I build you up and I fix you. I AM a carpenter.”
“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds”, says the LORD. Jeremiah 30:17
Carpenter Definition: Creates and Builds, To Fix
Mark 6: 3
Jesus is referred to as a carpenter. The people speaking of Him were not very accepting that He was performing miracles and seemed to have a lot of wisdom; yet he was just a carpenter.
He was just a carpenter in their eyes, but little did they know He was the Son of God. He loved us and still does more than we can possibly fathom. This world was created by God, with Jesus, already present at the very beginning. https://thelioninspires.com/beginning-faith/
There is no coincidence that Jesus was a carpenter. This all plays into God’s perfect plan for Him, and for us. There are a couple different types of carpentry.
- Rough Carpentry: Focuses on the structural framework of a building.
- Finish Carpentry: Focuses on the interior and exterior finishing touches of a building.
Rough carpentry through Jesus, we can look at as focusing on the structure of each person, the outer building of each person, what they are holding onto that may not be their load to carry. What is going on, on the interior, shows up on the exterior.
Finish carpentry can be looked at as focusing on the inside of a person and the wounds they have acquired. It requires healing and fixing to bring us back to where we should be.
John 1:1-3
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him.
God created this world, He created us in His image. He continues to build us from His heavenly plans, His blueprints. It is all purposeful and precise.
We Need to Heal from the Inside First
Going back to the helmet in my story. I know that this sticker was on the inside, and out of sight from the outside, but most of the time, that is where we as humans need the most repairing. We need to heal from the inside first. We heal from the inside first, and then it becomes evident on the outside.
Jesus gave me a vision of Him just looking at His children with such love and compassion. Wanting to fix us (like a carpenter) from the things that have happened to us throughout our lives. Patching us up and healing us.
Putting the broken pieces together but with new pieces. Healed and refreshed pieces. Molding us back together again into the image that He originally created us to be. With such love.
The compassion and love were showing and radiating on His face. I could see and feel the love that just pours out of Him and into us.
The carpenter’s love for His children. It is oh so great. He built us, and when our structure needs love and care, He is there to fix us right up.
We are not meant to be broken pieces walking around aimlessly. He has a clear path and plan for each of us. We just need to surrender to Him, so we can be led down His path of greatness for us. His path of where He knows best for us to be.
Psalms 23: 3
He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.

God’s Love for us is Matchless
Trust Him to guide us, protect us, to heal us, provide for us, to save us. His love for us is matchless.
The word “matchless” implies that something is so exceptional that it cannot be compared to or equaled by anything else.
- This is used to describe something that stands out as being unique, superior, or of the highest quality.
- Supreme, beyond compare, inimitable
God our Father is Superior and Holy. HE is of the highest quality. His love is of the highest quality that cannot be compared to anything or anyone else. It is unconditional.
I pray that this encouraged you today. Our Father is always here for us. Reach out to Him like a child lifting their hands, as if they want to be picked up by their parents. Lift up your hands and surrender to Him. He will pick you up and turn you around, and fix you right back to what He intended you to be. God is so so good. He loves us so much.
